Coal for Christmas

Oncologist called on Friday.  Melanoma in my small intestine.  Bad Melanoma day.

Go back first week of January for a full work up.  PET scan, CAT scan, MRI scan,  - scan this, scan that, scan up, scan down,  I scan, you scan, we all scan.

Miss Mellie is getting coal this year for Christmas, definitely a large lump of coal.

  8. Oh Allyson that is not the kind of present I wanted you to hear for Christmas. I'm so sorry to hear all that you are going through. I wish I could give you a big hug and sit down and cry with you. You are incredible! I'm thankful for the lessons your teaching all of us. Even in your situation your still the one giving, that's just who you are. Love you, stay strong and keep fighting!

  18. My dear, dear Allyson! What a shock it was to get your Christmas card when we came home for a couple days and realize all that has happened to you since we visited your ward in Oct! Thank you for sharing of your faith and strength with all of us that love and admire you. You have always been an example of true Christ-like service in so many ways and now you are serving us by sharing your experiences, faith, stamina and power to overcome with us. Know our many prayers and faith will be added to yours and we know the Lord will be with you and bless you as you continue to work through this and regain your health. We love you dearly.
